About this spot
This location sits on the state's second-largest lake and can be accessed via Route 19. Just before crossing the bridge while heading south, a dirt parking area provides vehicle access. From the parking spot, walking in nearly any direction leads to cliff formations, with well-established paths connecting various scenic spots. Route 19 crosses the lake and is visible from the rocky areas accessed via these trails. The shoreline features numerous cliff faces throughout. The most prominent formation occurs at the main lake bend, where a cliff reaches 70-80 feet in height—a challenging jump unsuitable for most skill levels. While boat access is available for rental at the location, costs are significant, making hiking the primary way to explore the different cliff areas.
