About this spot

Redgranite Quarry Park is a real, actively-used flooded 1880s granite quarry behind the post office off Division Street and Highway 21 in Redgranite, Wisconsin. The lake reaches roughly 163 feet deep, and rock faces from about 5 to 30 feet (varying with water level) offer jumping, though the posted rule is that the diving board is the only sanctioned dive point. Free and open 7am-7pm, enforced by local police. The main hazard is cold-water shock — depth keeps parts of the lake chilly even in summer heat. Older listings citing heights up to 300 feet are almost certainly quarry depth, not jump height; disregard any figure above 40 feet.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
