About this spot
From Superior, Wisconsin, travel along highways 2 and 53 combined, then turn onto Moccasin Mike Road. Continue forward until you reach an opportunity to turn left, then proceed to the terminus of this road. Look for a prominent yellow sign and bear right at that location. Head to the designated parking area, then hike down toward the lighthouse structure. Avoid jumping during high winds, as wave action intensifies significantly under those conditions. The water depth exceeds 30 feet, eliminating concern about striking the lake bottom.
