About this spot

Travel west from Casper on Highway 220 for approximately 30 miles, then turn left onto Pathfinder Road to reach Pathfinder Reservoir. A hiking trail begins on the reservoir's south side near the dam, where parking is available. Cross the dam and follow the trail downward toward the bridge, covering roughly 2 miles to reach the jumping area. The return hike is notably strenuous. A sandy beach is located at the site, making it suitable for a full-day visit with snacks or meals. This location works well for beginners and younger jumpers, as well as spectators who prefer not to participate in jumping.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
