About this spot

A waterfall on Laurel Creek in DeSoto State Park, on the moderate Laurel Falls Trail Loop (~3 mi) or the shorter Laurel/Lost Falls loop (~2.4 mi). The park's own materials say swimming and wading are allowed generally in Laurel Creek and the West Fork of Little River, but no source documents swimming or jumping specifically at Laurel Falls itself.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
