About this spot
A 20-ft waterfall in DeSoto State Park (Lookout Mountain, near Fort Payne/Mentone), reached via a short (~0.1-0.25 mi) path across from the Azalea Cascade/Talmadge Butler trailhead; a footbridge crosses the top and a side trail reaches the base. Real and easy to access, but no swimming-hole or jumping accounts were found -- coverage is all scenic/photo-stop.
