About this spot

Located north of the dam at Beaver Lake, this spot is accessed via Gateway, AR on Highway 62. Turn onto Indian Creek road, which branches off approximately 5 miles south of Highway 62. Continue on Indian Creek road until reaching a fork marked with a "Dam Site" sign, then follow that direction for 2-3 miles to a campground area situated before the dam on the north side. Park and walk along the bluff ridge (exercise caution as you're near cliff edges). The designated jumping location is at the second "DANGER – NO JUMPING OR DIVING" warning sign; continue past it to find a hiking path descending to the base of the cliff where gear can be left. The jump height ranges from 35-55 feet depending on water level. From Eureka Springs, travel northwest on Highway 62 to Highway 187 West and proceed 6-8 miles to reach the dam site. Note that park rangers patrol this area, and other visitors are typically present who can provide directions to the spot.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
