About this spot

Located north of the dam at Beaver Lake, this spot is accessed via Gateway, AR on Highway 62, turning onto Indian Creek Road about 5 miles south of the highway. Follow Indian Creek Road to a fork marked with a "Dam Site" sign and continue for 2-3 miles to a campground before the dam crossing on the north side. Park and walk along the bluff ridge (exercise caution as you're near the edge). Despite warning signs stating "DANGER – NO JUMPING OR DIVING," the established entry point is located at the second such marker. A hiking trail leads down from the cliff to an area where gear can be stored. The jump itself ranges from 35-55 feet depending on current water levels. From Eureka Springs, travel northwest on Highway 62 to Highway 187 West and continue 6-8 miles to reach the dam. Visitors often gather here and can provide local guidance to the jump location.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
