About this spot

Pig Trail Falls drops about 15-18 ft (lidar indicates up to 30 ft of total relief) right off a sharp bend in Highway 23, the Pig Trail Scenic Byway, roughly two miles south of the Turner Bend store and Mulberry River bridge. It's one of the easiest waterfalls in Arkansas to reach, visible from a highway shoulder pull-off, best seen in spring flow. Sources describe it as a scenic roadside stop rather than a confirmed swimming hole; parking on the highway shoulder near a blind curve is the main hazard.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly.
