About this spot
Indian Falls is a small cascade on Indian Creek just off Highway 89 near Crescent Mills, reached by an easy 0.3-mile trail to a sandy pool at the base. Rock jumping is possible when flow is high enough, per Plumas County's own trail page, but an established multi-source jumping culture isn't documented — most accounts describe it as a scenic swim stop rather than a jump spot. Trail sections get slippery when wet.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
