God's Bath is a series of granite pools on the Clavey River in Stanislaus National Forest, reached by an unmarked, technical scramble of roughly a mile from a trailhead near the bridge on Forest Route 1N04/Cottonwood Road outside Long Barn, CA, with ropes on the steepest sections. Smooth bedrock chutes form emerald pools connected by cascades, with jumps reported up to about 60 feet and a rope swing at one pool. This is not an official Forest Service recreation site; water is fast, very cold, and hides strong currents, and at least five people have drowned here since 2020. The submitted pin sat about 13km away in unrelated forest; this fix moves it to the documented trailhead. Go with experienced groups only and scout every pool before jumping.
