About this spot
An unofficial but locally-known name for a waterfall on Meadow Creek near Monticello, Kentucky, paired upstream with Meadow Creek Cascades (a run of four 3-6 ft drops). Reached via KY-90 through Monticello, past Grace Baptist Church, with roadside parking where a guardrail ends on a curve. There is no maintained trail — reaching the falls means bushwhacking along the creek. No documented cliff-jumping or organized swimming-hole use was found; treat this as an unverified backcountry scramble rather than an established swim destination.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
