About this spot

This former excavation site features distinctly blue-hued water. Several additional ponds exist in the vicinity, though their quality is poor. From I-75, take Pierson to Elms, then head north on Elms before turning left onto Coutant. Continue to Eastview Baseball Park and enter the facility. Proceed to the rear section where a dirt path leads directly to the main pond—the water body is visible from the park. A rope hangs from a tree; given its length, you'll need to swing outward to gain distance or simply drop from the branches. The jump height ranges from roughly 15 to 18 feet, with landing depth estimated at 6 to 7 feet. The bottom surface combines rocks and mud, so water shoes are recommended. This spot draws summer crowds. Local residents border the far shore, so keeping noise levels moderate is important to avoid being asked to leave. No posted property restrictions are present at the location.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
