About this spot
Located 11 miles east of Bonner, MT along Highway 200 (coordinates 46.916, -113.679), two cliff formations sit on the right side of the road just before the bridge crossing. Reaching them requires swimming across the river. The larger formation presents significant access challenges, with shallow water conditions requiring jumpers to launch outward with maximum distance. This location is not recommended during late summer months due to water level changes.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
