About this spot
Located 11 miles east of Bonner, MT on Highway 200 (coordinates 46.916, -113.679), this spot features two cliff formations visible on the right side of the road preceding the bridge. Accessing either requires swimming across the river. The larger cliff presents significant challenges to reach and involves shallow water conditions—jumpers must launch outward with considerable distance to clear the hazards below. This particular jump should be avoided during late summer months when water levels drop.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
