About this spot

Starting from Exit 21 on the 87 Thruway, proceed onto Route 23B heading toward South Cairo. Continue for a short distance and bear left onto County Road 47, traveling approximately 0.3 miles before turning right onto Route 23. Drive roughly 7 miles, then turn right onto Route 145 and continue for about 6 miles until you reach Furlongs Pub. Take the right turn onto Stone Bridge Road—the bridge itself is immediately visible upon turning. Multiple jump locations exist along the surrounding cliffs, with heights ranging from 10 feet up to approximately 30 feet. The bridge itself offers a 50-foot jump option. Bridge jumpers should note that a guard rail exists with minimal clearance—approximately 6 inches—so sufficient outward distance is necessary when launching. The water maintains significant depth and excellent clarity.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
