About this spot

Upper Middle Branch Falls is a staircase-style waterfall on the Middle Branch of Mill Creek in Loyalsock State Forest, a 5-10 minute walk from parking at a bridge on Camels Road, about 5 miles east of Hillsgrove. It spills into a large pool below. Nearby rocks are reported slippery, especially closer to the lower falls downstream. No documented swimming or cliff-jumping culture; visits are for hiking and photography.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
