About this spot
Pine Ridge Falls is a short, easy 1-mile round-trip hike in the Clark's Creek area of Cherokee National Forest near Erwin, TN, about 0.2 miles past the Sill Branch Falls trailhead on Clark's Creek Road (partly gravel, no fee). The falls drop roughly 20 feet over a rock ledge; one stream crossing can be tricky after rain, and the trail is also used by horses. Guides describe it as a scenic, family-friendly waterfall stop on public land rather than a swimming or jumping destination -- no pool depth or jump culture is documented.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
