About this spot

Starting from Burlington heading south on Route 7, watch for Route 189. Once you pass 189, turn right immediately onto Queen City Park Road. After a short curve, turn right again and continue on Queen City Park Road until you cross a narrow bridge. Your first left turn after the bridge leads to parking, marked by a sign and trailhead entrance. The hike from here takes several minutes—head toward the water away from your vehicle. Navigation requires asking locals and careful observation, as the route can be tricky to locate initially. You'll recognize the destination when you reach a long curved railing overlooking the lake; this railing indicates the direction toward the cliffs. A path into the vegetation appears nearby, often accompanied by voices from other visitors. Follow this path downward to reach the cliff area.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
