About this spot

Exit the Blue Ridge Parkway onto U.S. 60 traveling east toward the direction opposite Buena Vista. Take a right turn onto Panther Falls Road, also marked as Forest Service Road 315, where you'll see a small directional sign for Panther Falls. Follow this unpaved road as it descends sharply for approximately three miles. A small parking area on the left side provides access to the upper portion of the falls via trail. Continuing down the road, you'll find a larger parking facility also positioned on the left, offering access to the lower section of the falls.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
