About this spot
From Yakima, travel north on I-82 in the direction of Ellensburg and take exit 26. Turn left at the top of the exit ramp and reset your odometer. Drive 12 miles along State Route 821 until you spot a small parking area on your right side. The jumping location sits across the road, roughly a couple hundred feet further up. Steer clear of the far right portion of the cliff, as concealed rocks hazard the water directly beneath that area. The remaining sections are suitable for jumping.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
