About this spot

Moulton Falls Regional Park sits at 27781 NE Lucia Falls Road in Yacolt (Clark County), where the East Fork Lewis River meets Big Tree Creek beneath a landmark arch footbridge; free on-site parking. Below the falls, a rocky canyon holds cliff jumps in the 15-25 foot range along the East Fork, with water levels and clarity varying by season. Two hazards to know: jumping from the footbridge itself is explicitly prohibited, and drownings have occurred after jumpers were submerged too long in the plunge pool, so this isn't a spot for solo or inexperienced jumpers. Nearby Lucia Falls, upstream, is closed to all water contact as protected fish habitat — don't confuse the two.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
