This location operates under strict prohibition with a $250 penalty for violation. Access is heavily patrolled. Directions to reach the site: From Madison, head approximately 2-3 kilometers south on the Grand Loop Road, then turn right onto Firehole Canyon Drive, a one-way road leading to swim area parking. Alternatively, from Old Faithful, travel roughly 14-22 kilometers north on the main park road along the western lower loop until reaching the Firehole Canyon Drive turnoff, then turn left on the one-way road to the parking area. Visitors should be aware that law enforcement regularly monitors this spot, and multiple citations have been issued to jumpers at this location.
