About this spot
Senyard Falls is a 29 ft waterfall a short distance past neighboring Murray Falls on the same steep 0.7-mile trail from the Cherry Bend Trailhead on Highway 23, named for OHT volunteer Roy Senyard. The trail is described as slippery and muddy after rain, with sturdy footwear recommended. It is documented alongside Murray Falls in local news and hiking guides as a scenic pairing, but no swimming or cliff-jumping culture is reported at either falls.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
