About this spot
Located along a scenic river in the area, this site sits roughly 40 miles inland from the coast. Heading east on Highway 299 toward Willow Creek, turn left at the main street near the Chevron station. At the upcoming fork, bear right and follow directional markers toward Kimtu Beach until reaching the parking area. The jumping rocks are situated across the river, with heights spanning from 1 to 25 feet. Additional jump options of comparable size can be found both upstream and downstream from the main location.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
