About this spot
Glen Ellis Falls is located off Route 16 in Pinkham Notch with a clearly marked parking area. An underpass tunnel beneath Route 16 provides access from the parking lot. The marked trail leads to a long staircase of stone steps that descends to the waterfall's base. Two jump platforms are positioned very close to one another, separated by approximately 6-7 feet in height. The lower jump sits beyond a 3'x3' rock platform used as a viewing area, while the higher jump launches from the rock wall and railing system at the overlook itself.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
