About this spot
Roaring Falls is the first cascade encountered on the Brook Walk Trail in the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area, Moultonborough, on Shannon Brook, described as a small cascade flowing under a ledge into a pool a short distance from the parking area. It's part of a well-documented sequence of seven named waterfalls (with Twin Falls, Whittier Falls, and others further down the brook). This is a scenic hiking-trail feature on conservation land, not a documented swimming or jumping spot — no jump culture is reported for the Brook Walk falls.
