About this spot
From Boone, NC, head south on Highway 421 toward Tennessee, then turn left onto Highway 321. Continue for approximately 10 miles until you pass a flat concrete bridge. Shortly after, a small dirt parking area appears on the right side of the road. Cross the road to access a short, narrow trail that leads to the jumping area. The location features three jump options measuring roughly 15, 20, and 30 feet. The highest jump requires careful downward movement rather than a traditional leap. This site presents significant challenges: a substantial rock formation blocks the exit with minimal space to build momentum, making it difficult to clear safely. The landing area is not ideal for standard jumping technique. This spot demands advanced skill and careful evaluation before attempting any jumps.
