About this spot

A real, small (~10-12 ft) multi-tiered cascade on Slickum Creek in the Eva Russell Chandler Heritage Preserve, about 100 ft off SC Highway 11/276 between Wildcat Wayside and Caesars Head State Park. Satellite imagery confirms the pin sits right at the roadside as described. Guides call it good for wading and fishing into a sandy pool, not swimming or jumping — too short and shallow for that. No designated parking; park along the highway shoulder.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
