About this spot
Pleasant Ridge Falls sits in free, uncrowded Pleasant Ridge County Park off SC-11 near Marietta, reached by an easy 0.2-mile trail. It's a two-tier cascade (an 8 ft drop, a 25 ft run, then a 15 ft drop) that visitors wade and cool off in after the hike. The drops are short and rocky with no documented cliff-jumping culture, so treat it as a wading spot, not a jump spot.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
