Middle Poe Creek Falls is one of three named drops (Lower, Middle, and the Plunge/Sluice falls) along Poe Creek in Poe Creek State Forest near Sunset, SC. Multiple trail guides describe swimming holes along this same creek/trail system, but none specifically document jumping or name this exact falls as a jump spot. The forest is lightly visited compared to nearby Table Rock/Jocassee-area trails, so conditions and access are less battle-tested.
