Sculpture Falls sits on Barton Creek in Austin's Barton Creek Greenbelt, reached by a 1.5-3 mile hike over rocky, uneven terrain from Greenbelt trailheads. Spring-fed by the Edwards Aquifer, the pool holds a steady 70°F even in summer, with a small cascade and low limestone bluffs offering modest cliff-jumping spots a few feet above the water. Depth near the falls is usually sufficient for jumping but varies with recent rain — the creek can run completely dry, so check flow conditions before heading out. Water shoes help on slick rock underfoot. The most common real-world hazard isn't the jump but car break-ins at trailhead parking; never leave valuables visible. Access is free and unrestricted as public greenbelt parkland, popular with swimmers and hikers year-round.
