About this spot
Glen Falls (also called Glen's Falls or Glenn Falls) is a well-documented Upper Valley swimming hole on Fairlee's town forest land, reached by an easy 0.6-mile round-trip trail from a marked trailhead on Lake Morey Road, just past the West Fairlee boat launch. The brook drops roughly 25 feet over ledges into a cold plunge pool that AllTrails reviewers repeatedly call 'the perfect swimming hole.' Access is free and family-friendly, though the trail turns steep and root-strewn past the falls if you continue into the town forest. Water is spring-fed and cold year-round; flow and pool depth vary seasonally, so scout conditions before jumping. No formal jumping culture or height markers are documented, and moss-covered ledges are slippery, so the main hazard here is footing rather than water depth.
