About this spot
This remote Verde section lies within the Mazatzal Wilderness area. Access requires driving east from Camp Verde, Arizona for approximately ten miles until reaching the Forest Service Road leading to Childs Powerplant, where paddlers typically launch inflatable canoes. The jump locations featured are situated roughly twenty-five miles downriver from this launch point. River travel is essentially the only practical means of reaching this site.
