About this spot

Located off Wright Street, which branches from the University area and connects to US 41 before the shopping district, this spot requires driving past electrical infrastructure and an ATV trail. You can park at a designated lot or continue hiking to the road's terminus near a small power generation facility and nearby residence. Access the falls by taking a trail uphill and down an embankment to reach a stream. Head upstream, cross a small tributary branch, then ascend steeply to arrive at a series of large pools. On the left side, cliffs measure between 15 and 18 feet tall. The right side features a 48-foot cliff that demands clearing rocks positioned at its base during entry. The water proved very deep at this location, with jumpers from both the smaller cliffs and the tall jump failing to contact the pool bottom. Insect populations remain manageable despite the wooded setting.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
