About this spot
A 25-30 foot cascade in Pisgah National Forest off Headwaters Road (FS-475B), reached via an easy roughly one-mile round-trip hike along an old logging road, with parking within about a half mile. The falls has a couple of free-falling sections over rock. It's lightly visited and not documented as a swimming or jumping spot — accounts describe it as a scenic viewing stop rather than a place people swim, so no jump culture is confirmed here.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
