About this spot

Pulliam Creek Falls is a real waterfall about 1.5 miles along the Pulliam Creek Trail in Green River Game Land, Polk County, NC — satellite imagery confirms visible whitewater exactly at the pin. The trail continues to the Green River Narrows, one of the most extreme Class V whitewater runs in the Southeast, used by expert kayakers, not swimmers. No cliff-jumping or swimming-hole culture is documented at the falls itself; the Narrows immediately downstream are a serious drowning hazard for casual visitors.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
