About this spot

Twin Falls (also called Eastatoe Falls or Reedy Cove Falls) is a 75-foot double waterfall on a private, publicly-accessible Felburn Foundation/Nature Conservancy preserve at the end of gravel Waterfalls Road in Sunset. The 0.25-mile Lower Trail is free and open dawn to dusk, but posted signs prohibit fishing, swimming, and climbing; despite that, visitors are commonly seen wading and dipping in the pools. Granite ledges are notoriously slick and there have been serious falls here, so it functions more as a scenic overlook than a sanctioned swim or jump spot.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
