About this spot
This spot sits on J. Percy Priest Lake behind the Lincoya Bay Apartments off Bell Road in Hermitage. From Nashville, take I-40 east to the Stewart's Ferry Pike exit toward the dam, turn onto Bell Road, then into the apartment complex via Lincoya Bay Drive; a damaged gate near the property line leads along a tree line and through the complex's back edge to an informal shoreline path. Jumps run roughly 25 to 30 feet off rock outcrops, with a rope swing further along, into reportedly deep water. Access is unofficial and crosses private residential property, and a 2022 search-and-rescue call for a missing jumper near here was ultimately called off unresolved. Treat depth and rock placement as unknown on every visit.
