About this spot

Small waterfall and swimming hole on Metro Parks land off Hathaway Court in West Meade, Nashville — essentially no hike, you park at its base. Flow is a trickle in dry summer but much fuller after rain. Locals wade and photograph it, but multiple sources (OnlyInYourState, Yelp, TennGreen, local blogs) describe wading/photo visits, not cliff jumping — no jump documentation found, and the drop looks short and rocky. Land is a sensitive natural area (wildflowers, salamanders, occasional bobcat) managed by Metro Parks since 2015.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
