This pin sits at a well-known informal jump spot on Percy Priest Lake's Lincoya Bay, about 10 miles east of downtown Nashville — access cuts through the Lincoya Bay Apartments off Lincoya Bay Drive to a worn gate and tree line, leading to a handful of ledges roughly 25 to 30 feet high plus a rope swing. It's unsanctioned and genuinely risky: multiple searches and rescues have followed cliff-jumping incidents on this lake, including a fatal Memorial Day 2022 drowning after a jump from around 40 to 50 feet elsewhere on the lake. Check depth and sobriety before jumping; the Army Corps of Engineers manages the lake and does not maintain this as an official park facility.
