About this spot

A roadside 35-foot cascade on Phillips Brook in Stark, NH, with a 12-foot main drop feeding a gorge and swimming holes rated only 'fair' (dark, tannin-stained water; scout before entering). Access has historically crossed private land on the west side, and reporting notes ownership recently changed, so parking/access could tighten -- if the pull-off is posted, the falls remain visible from the road.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
