About this spot

Broad River Falls is an unofficially named feature (USGS Bat Cave 7.5' quad) with sparse documentation — World Waterfall Database lists no coordinates or height. Satellite imagery at the given pin does show a genuine, sizable river cascade/rapid with a roadside pull-off and parking loop, consistent with the Broad/Rocky Broad River corridor closer to Bat Cave than to Black Mountain proper (roughly 10 miles away), which suggests the town label is only an approximate nearest-town tag rather than a location error. No independent trip reports, swimming, or jumping culture could be found under this name.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
