Nay Aug Falls drops roughly 20 feet into a pool inside Nay Aug Gorge, a National Natural Landmark in Nay Aug Park just southeast of downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania, reached via the Davis or Rodman trails from the park's main lot. Cliff jumping here is longstanding and heavily documented: TripAdvisor photos, YouTube videos, Facebook clips, and local coverage all show people leaping from the gorge's ledges into Roaring Brook. It is also officially illegal and genuinely dangerous. The city prohibits swimming and diving in the gorge, and the site has been linked to roughly four dozen deaths since 1890 from drowning, falls, and unpredictable currents and water levels. Anyone who jumps anyway should expect no lifeguard, unmarked submerged rocks, and real legal risk from park staff or police.
