Wright Creek Falls is a tiered, roughly 30-35-foot waterfall on a cove of Lake Jocassee near Salem, SC — boat- or kayak-only, with no road or trail to the base. Launch from Devils Fork State Park (a parking/launch fee applies); guided lake tours regularly stop here so riders can swim and jump off streamside rocks into deep water, and paddlers can get behind the falls when the reservoir is high. Water is cold and often murky with sudden depth changes near the rock face, and both height and flow shift with lake level and season, so check current levels and never dive headfirst since submerged rock isn't visible.
