About this spot
Bambi Falls is part of the same obscure Kings Creek/Fawn Branch cluster behind John Rock in Pisgah National Forest as Warrior Falls and Fawn Branch Falls, reached only by off-trail bushwhacking over slick, sometimes icy creek rock. It is on public Forest Service land but has no dedicated write-up beyond hiking catalogs, and no swimming or jumping activity is documented at this specific cascade.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
